Responsibilities

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will:

  • Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and deliver high availability and performance
  • Contribute to all phases of the development life cycle
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
  • Evaluate and propose improvements to the existing system
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies for architectural review
  • Maintain and evolve application cloud infrastructure (AWS)
  • Maintain and evolve Kubernetes clusters and enhance infrastructure hardening according to compliance and security needs
  • Develop monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting solutions

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • 7+ years of industry experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
  • Experience with Terraform and Docker
  • Strong hands-on implementation skills and a deep understanding of Linux networking and security
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and experience with programming languages such as GOlang, Python, Java, or Ruby. Familiarity with PostgreSQL is a plus
  • Contributions to open source projects are an advantage

  • Excellent communication skills in English to interact with colleagues and customers.
