About the Role
Foodles, it's the canteen but better: simpler, more generous, and more convivial! Thanks to our proprietary connected fridge technology, we provide our customers with fresh, seasonal meals at affordable prices. Your team's mission is to empower Foodles operational teams (finance, logistics, account management) with great tools that automate repetitive tasks, reduce shadow IT, and increase data quality.
Responsibilities
To achieve this mission, your team undertakes the following key activities:
- Develop new and pre-existing Odoo modules, focusing on supply management and invoicing.
- Connect various business SAAS together via API.
- Help other teams in their own missions as part of a collaborative effort.
Work Environment and Tools
You will be working alongside 5 Software Engineers and a Product Manager. Tools you'll use daily include:
- Our open-source Python ERP: Odoo 14 deployed on Odoo.sh
- A Python 3.11 / Django 4.2 project for client-facing apps, deployed on Heroku with a Postgres database.
- Solutions for collaboration and monitoring like Github, Circle CI, Codecov, Datadog, and Sentry.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We seek an engineer who fits the following profile:
- Graduated from an engineering school with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Experience in Python, with knowledge of NodeJS/React.
- A strong interest in backend development and internal tools. Curiosity and a willingness to innovate are essential.
- You value writing simple, maintainable, and well-tested code.
