About the Role
Cherry Pick is looking for a Data Engineer to work with a client in the Aerospace sector. The Data Engineer will operate in a Microsoft-oriented environment focusing on data structuring, integration, and traceability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data integration pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse.
- Construct data lineage.
- Implement the Medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold).
- Utilize Spark notebooks in Synapse for data processing.
- Manage versions and tickets via DevOps tools.
- Transition pipelines from development to production.
- Debug and continuously improve workflows.
About the Candidate
Senior level (minimum 6-8 years of experience) is required. Mastery in Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Spark Notebooks, Data Lineage, and DevOps is necessary. Candidates should be familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and able to work independently. A professional level of English proficiency is essential, as the working environment is 100% English-speaking. Proactivity, solution orientation, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility are key traits sought in a candidate.
Conditions
Remote work is possible with 3 to 4 travels per year (meetings or workshops), with all expenses covered. The start date is ASAP, and this is a long-term mission.
