About the Role
As a Microsoft Software Back End Developer at Avanade, you will lead the development team and provide guidance on Integration Architecture, leveraging your deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure and .Net. You will contribute through all phases of projects, from planning to testing, ensuring high-quality delivery of custom and integration platform solutions.
Responsibilities
- Contribute across all phases of Avanade projects, including planning, analysis, design, build, and testing.
- Leverage your technical expertise to design and implement custom software solutions (greenfield and brownfield) and integration platform migration solutions.
- Liaise effectively between clients, IT staff, and business partners to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
- Assess client requirements and scope and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Create detailed technical designs and ensure project quality meets high standards.
- Partner with cross-functional technology and design teams for consistent client interaction and solution delivery.
- Support the team in defining technical, operational, and user requirements, and oversee the resolution of client issues.
- Work independently with latitude for decision-making and may require travel based on project demands.
About You
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
- Familiarity with core Microsoft offerings and an understanding of the broader Microsoft ecosystem (D365 CRM, Data & AI, and Security).
- Consulting experience working with external clients and strong client management skills.
- Experience implementing solutions across various industries, including Health, Public Sector, Retail, and Banking.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Technical Skills
You should have:
- Experience with Microservices Integration Architectures and RestAPIs using .Net and C#.
- Skills in Microsoft Azure Integration Services, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, and knowledge of Azure well-architected frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery models is highly valued.
