About the Role
As a Java Developer at Cistec B.V., you will support our clients by designing, developing, and optimizing robust Java applications. You will contribute to improving code quality and implementing best practices within a development team. Additionally, you will act as a mentor for colleagues, helping them to further develop in their technical career. You will work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize robust and scalable Java applications in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to convert client needs into technical solutions.
- Actively contribute to the DevOps culture and automation of processes.
- Monitor code quality and implement best practices in software development.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure to build secure and efficient solutions.
- Integrate and manage container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
About the Candidate
You should have:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
- In-depth knowledge of Java and frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or similar.
- Practical knowledge of container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Podman, or OpenShift.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps principles.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive work attitude.
- A passion for technology and continuous improvement of processes and systems.
