About the Role
Visa’s Technology Organization is seeking a versatile and energetic Lead Java Software Engineer. This role involves solving complex challenges and collaborating with a multi-functional team to develop powerful payment technologies. You will lead the establishment of development best practices, influence technology selection, and contribute to the integration of innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Establish software development patterns and best practices, ensuring project teams adhere to a common set of principles.
- Apply architectural best practices to enhance execution velocity.
- Lead and plan the integration of new technological capabilities and features.
- Analyze bug patterns to implement systemic solutions for functional websites.
- Contribute to GenAI initiatives to boost developer productivity and drive product innovation.
About the Candidate
- Basic Qualifications: 10+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or 7 years with an Advanced degree, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: 12+ years experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8-10 years with an Advanced Degree, with strong technical capabilities and experience in Java, Spring, Hibernate, Angular, and web services.
