About the Role
Your mission is to install, configure, and administer our system landscape in the cloud environment, ensuring the stability and security of our infrastructure resources. You will design and implement our cloud infrastructure, utilize agile development techniques for scripting, and set up an environment that empowers our developers to work efficiently. Optimizing existing infrastructures through DevOps automation approaches is key, as is your passion for innovative methods and processes, taking every opportunity to improve workflows via automation. You will develop architectures that meet requirements while ensuring their proper operation and monitoring.
About the Candidate
You possess a degree in IT or comparable professional experience. You bring several years of experience in cloud technologies, specifically in AWS, and optionally other cloud providers. Furthermore, you have experience with Istio, Kafka, and Nexus, as well as relevant CI/CD experience (e.g. with Gitlab CI) and automation of build/deployment processes. You are well-versed with tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Prometheus, and Grafana Stack and hold a solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Fluency in German and English, alongside experience in agile software development projects, is essential.
