Our client, MAM Gruppe, is seeking a passionate Senior Java Developer with expertise in microservices and Spring Boot. Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop sophisticated features and services using the latest Java 21 technologies.
- Identify potential optimisations in terms of quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Tackle complex problems or high-risk systems through architectural spikes and proof of concepts.
- Test your code with the support of our continuous integration and delivery setup, ensuring quick feedback on its performance and reliability.
- Stay updated with current trends and technologies, sharing your knowledge with colleagues in regular sessions.
About the Candidate
- A technical degree, such as computer science or a comparable qualification.
- Proficient in Java web technologies and corresponding frameworks with Spring, with some knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with Linux as a development and server environment for a Tomcat/Apache stack, Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
- Skilled in writing "clean code" with good performance and in testing quality and performance automatically using tools such as JUnit 5, Selenium, JMeter.
- Ideally experienced with CMS, Continuous Delivery, REST, and Python.
- Willing to take on responsibility and eager to explore new topics such as data science, AI, security, or DevOps, and value a strong team spirit.
