Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable server-side logic.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with backend logic.
  • Optimise database performance and ensure data integrity in SQL-based relational databases.
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain backend services on AWS.
  • Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and security.
  • Work in an agile development environment, participating in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning.

About the Candidate

  • 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar role within a cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Spring Boot, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of REST API design, microservices architecture, and AWS.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Passion for innovation and delivering high-quality software solutions.
