About the Role
Finmas GmbH is seeking a passionate Lead IT Architect Web Services / Rest APIs. In this role, you will define and enforce architecture principles, select appropriate technologies, and ensure the long-term maintainability of scalable software systems. You will develop applications using Java (SpringBoot) and design REST APIs for internal and external use.
Responsibilities
- Architecture: Define and enforce architecture principles, select suitable technologies, and ensure long-term maintainability.
- Backend Development: Develop applications using Java (SpringBoot).
- REST API Development: Conceptualize, develop, and integrate REST APIs for use by internal and external clients.
- Testing and Performance: Write tests for your code (End-to-End Testing) and optimize the performance of the applications.
- Collaboration & Team Leadership: Work closely with the internal UX/Design department and provide mentoring to the new growing development team.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will have firm experience in Java (SpringBoot) development, including experience in REST API design and development. Knowledge in end-to-end testing and scalable software systems is essential. Experience with authentication methods, web security, version control systems, and CI tools is required. You should possess the ability to make independent decisions and actively contribute to the creation of new features.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in German is mandatory (C1 Level).
