You will be responsible for design, implementation, and operational support of the technical infrastructure for strategic Broadridge applications and services. In this role, you will craft the technical solutions and automated operational processes for the next generation Broadridge platforms focusing on automation, availability, performance, scale, and cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and maintain SWIFT service infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving software or hardware issues to ensure continuous availability. Utilize logging and monitoring tools for effective service tracking and identification.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that all infrastructure services comply with organizational security policies and industry regulations, integrating security tools as necessary.
- Infrastructure Maintenance and Optimization: Regularly evaluate and optimize infrastructure components, ensuring systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and features through effective management.
- On-call Support and Adaptability: Provide on-call support for critical issues, demonstrating flexibility to rapidly changing needs and technological advancements.
- Innovation and Learning: Pursue ongoing learning to stay current with emerging technologies, enhancing infrastructure solutions and strategies.
About the Candidate
Your competencies should include experience with commercial service infrastructure, strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical designs, and good interpersonal abilities to work under pressure. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferred, along with 4-5 years of experience within a programming and application system environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with: Windows Server OS, SQL Server, VMware virtualization, Active Directory, IBM MQ, and scripting languages like PowerShell.
- Familiarity with the SWIFT system and tools like Splunk or vulnerability management solutions is advantageous.
