About the Role
This position is for an Integration Engineer with a background in SSIS, Python, SQL, and data warehousing for enterprise level systems. The role requires a focus on ETL processes, where major responsibilities include:
- Providing Level 2/3 support of existing ETL processes.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting Scheduled ETL jobs, identifying and resolving issues or bottlenecks.
- Developing ETL processes proficiently in SSIS, Python, and SQL (SQL Server/Oracle).
- Writing SQL queries and programming including stored procedures and reverse engineering existing processes.
- Building and optimizing data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading from various sources while ensuring data quality and integrity.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
Required Skills:
- 5 years of SSIS development experience.
- 5 years of Python coding experience.
- 5 years of SQL Server based development experience with large datasets.
Additional Skills (nice to have):
- Experience in the Financial Services industry.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Schedulers/Orchestration platforms such as Tidal or Airflow.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.
- Background in Data warehousing - OLTP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modeling.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data architectures, messaging, and analytics.
- Experience developing and deploying ETL pipelines using Databricks Pyspark.
