About the Role

Objectware is looking for a DevOps Engineer to help elevate the skills of team members and provide a technical vision within the Cloud team and other teams. Your daily tasks include:

  • Helping and upskilling team members.
  • Collaborating with development and operations teams and partners to improve development processes.
  • Keeping up with technological innovations to maintain a high technical level and make appropriate decisions regarding methods and tools to use.
  • Participating with the Team lead in developing training plans for the team.
  • Promoting automation of infrastructure and system tasks.
  • Integrating operational functions within development organizations.

About the Candidate

To qualify for the role, candidates should possess:

  • A background in engineering or an equivalent degree.
  • Significant experience in data integration.
  • Mastery of Python and Talend.
  • A good level of English and a strong team spirit.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or CRI.
  • Experience with source control management tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Autonomy, flexibility, and result-oriented approach.

Nice-to-have skills include:

  • Experience with GitLab (GitLab CI).
  • Experience in Cloud Computing (preferably GCP).
  • Knowledge of Hashicorp tools (Terraform, Consul, Vault).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Thanos, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
  • Experience in Configuration Management tools such as Puppet, Ansible.
  • Experience with at least one programming language.
  • Knowledge of Kafka (Broker, Stream, Producer, Consumer).
  • Familiarity with agile team organizations.
  • Experience in implementing a Service Mesh.
