We are currently seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the Stateful team at our Stockholm office. The Stateful team is the backbone of our data infrastructure and tooling, responsible for essential database services and developing tools to meet the evolving needs of the Tink organization. We are actively expanding our team, seeking Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) and DevOps engineers to help drive our database services to new heights.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

• Ensure scalability and reliability of our most critical operational data store, primarily Cassandra.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the database services and tools align with their evolving requirements and use cases.

Note: This is a hybrid position, and the expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in managing Cassandra databases at scale.
• A strong desire to foster teamwork and collaborative efforts.
• Experience working in an IaC environment using tooling such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
• Familiarity with AWS, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Zookeeper, and Kafka.
• Extensive industry experience, including mentoring junior engineers.
