About the Role
As a Software Architect at Symbio, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing scalable software architectures based on Java technologies.
- Advising clients on selecting suitable technologies and architectural patterns.
- Analyzing existing IT landscapes and devising modernization strategies.
- Managing development projects while applying agile methodologies like Scrum and SAFe.
- Ensuring software quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
- Providing knowledge transfer and coaching to developers and collaborating closely with departmental teams.
About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice to Have Skills)
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in software architecture and development using Java (Spring, Quarkus, Jakarta EE).
- Solid knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps principles, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- An understanding of modern frontend technologies (Angular, React, or Vue.js) is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in both German and English.
