About the Role
Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Technical Integration Engineer (TIE) to join our dynamic team in Alice Springs, Australia. This hybrid role combines the expertise of a Systems Administrator, Software Engineer, and Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to design, implement, and maintain complex technical solutions that drive mission success. The Technical Integration Engineer will play a critical role in integrating systems, ensuring security compliance, and developing software solutions to support enterprise-level projects.
You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, bridging the gap between system administration, software development, and cybersecurity. This position requires a versatile professional who thrives in solving multifaceted technical challenges and delivering innovative, secure, and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Technical Administration (30%): Perform software requirements analysis, analyze hardware compatibility, and manage lab IT infrastructure, including servers, virtual environments, and cloud-based systems like AWS and Azure.
- Software Engineering (40%): Design, develop, and integrate custom software solutions to support system interoperability and mission requirements, and collaborate with teams to implement DevOps practices.
- Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE) (30%): Implement security controls, conduct risk assessments and integrate security best practices into system design.
About the Candidate
Ideal candidates possess a BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree). Candidates should also be US citizens with an active TS/SCI with Poly and in-depth understanding of technical principles applicable to several lab programs. Experience with Linux systems, coding, software development lifecycle, and cybersecurity frameworks is required. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
