About the Role
Join Zero to One Search as a Junior PHP Backend Developer in Frankfurt, Germany. You will have the opportunity to design Middleware APIs for high-frequency web services using PHP 7.4, maintain MySQL databases, and contribute to an innovative price comparison application. You’ll also engage in clean coding practices and agile development while working with international teams.
Your Responsibilities
- Design Middleware APIs for our high frequency web service with PHP 7.4
- Design and maintain a large scale MySQL database structure
- Develop a world-class price comparison application
- Provide detailed monitoring and implement automated tests
- Improve existing functionalities within the IT team
About the Candidate
We are looking for someone with a successful degree in computer science, business informatics or equivalent, or training as an IT specialist. You should demonstrate a capability of writing clean, S.O.L.I.D. code, a solid understanding of Database Design, APIs, Middleware concepts, and experience with GIT. You must be willing to learn and invest your skills for the team's success, and must have fluent English alongside a valid work permit for Germany.
