About the Role

X4 Technology is looking for a Contract Application Developer (Java, TypeScript & Endur) who will join a global energy trading company. The contract is for an initial 6 months, and the candidate will work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Java and TypeScript.
  • Customize and support Endur (Openlink), including JVS and AVS scripting.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other developers in an agile setting.
  • Implement APIs and services for internal and external data integrations.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely support and resolution.
  • Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure software quality through unit testing, automation, and documentation.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in Java development (Spring Boot, REST APIs) and solid front-end experience with TypeScript and modern frameworks like Angular or React. Hands-on experience with Endur (Openlink), including JVS and AVS scripting, is required. Familiarity with database technologies, CI/CD tools, and version control is also necessary.
