About the Role
A-Tech is hiring a Lead/Principal Software Engineer for an AI start-up with over 140m€ in funding (series A). The company is dedicated to reinventing enterprise software, crafting next-generation ERP platforms tailored for the AI era. You will be responsible for building features end-to-end, primarily on the backend, while also getting exposure to the frontend using TypeScript & React.
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end features mainly on the backend, with some frontend exposure.
- Implement cutting-edge AI and LLM technologies to create user-friendly tools.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on features based on user data and feedback.
- Collaborate within a fast-paced team with ambitious technical goals.
- Support and mentor team members, contributing across the stack.
About the Candidate
Your qualifications include:
- A Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
- Strong software engineering expertise, particularly in scaling systems.
- Proficient in backend development (APIs, data pipelines) with experience in TypeScript & Java or Python (Rust is a bonus).
- Experience designing architecture and deploying to the cloud.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and some frontend experience with React is advantageous.
- Understanding of LLMs and generative AI is desired.
- You prioritize the impact of your work on users and the business.
- Must be comfortable in dynamic, early-stage environments.
- Fluent English is required, and German is a plus.
