About the Role
Hunter Bond is looking for a Platform Engineer – Automation to join their client, an Elite FinTech firm. In this role, you will be responsible for working on low latency Linux systems. The position falls at the intersection of Platform Engineering, DevOps, Linux Systems Administration, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Responsibilities
You will build, design, and architect automated solutions that allow for scalable deployment in both private and public cloud infrastructures. Your role will involve project work as well as business-as-usual tasks, with a focus on automating processes wherever possible.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Platform automation, particularly exploring Terraform and Ansible, along with a robust understanding of Linux systems. Required skills include:
- Linux
- Terraform / Ansible
- Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman
- CI/CD
- Python, Ruby, or Go
Desirable skills that would be advantageous include:
- IaC – Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Pulumi, Bicep
- AWS or GCP
- DR Block / Blob Storage
- HPC
