About the Role
Haufe Group SE is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer AWS TypeScript (d/m/w) for our team in Freiburg im Breisgau. You will be responsible for developing innovative solutions for our Business Platform hosted in the AWS Cloud. As part of a Scrum team, you will collaboratively take charge of the design, implementation, and operation with the Dev team. You will engage with modern architectural principles and new technologies, assisting us in the adoption of DevOps practices, APIs, and Microservices. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to design, implement, and further develop new services collaboratively with your team. Your expertise will also assist in adapting existing processes due to the transition away from SAP.
About the Candidate
To succeed in this role, you should have substantial experience in software development with cloud technologies and cloud services, ideally with AWS. You should be familiar with the JavaScript ecosystem and possess experience working with TypeScript. Familiarity with DevOps practices such as test automation, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD is essential. You should already have some experience in API development, preferably using Node.js. Experience in frontend development with React.js is a bonus, but not required. Knowledge or a willingness to learn in SAP software development with ABAP, SAP-Script, and SAP Business Workflow is advantageous. Proficiency in German is required for this position.
