Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS) is looking for a Senior Platform Software Engineer who's ready to help us improve our customer experience by building functional systems that bring our business to new heights. Our group handles building a modern cloud deployment platform on top of AWS, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD. We strive to build systems that enable our users to quickly deploy reliable applications to production. This position is remote in Canada with a preference towards the Toronto area.

Responsibilities

  • Evolve our Kubernetes-based platform by delivering features that enhance application development.
  • Help build scalable and reliable Kubernetes clusters.
  • Help to define new features that improve the deployment and production experience of our users.
  • Code, test, debug and document new features in our Python-based Deployment process.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to define and execute projects.
  • Participate in low burden On-Call rotation.
  • Write great technical documentation.

About the Candidate

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years Application development experience (Java/python/go etc.) with Kubernetes operator development being a big plus.
  • Experience with modern cloud deployment technologies like Kubernetes, Spinnaker a big plus.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python or Java.
  • Experience with AWS, Linux-based infrastructures, and Linux/Unix administration.
