About the Role

We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer with expertise in Linux administration to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in automating and streamlining our operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and troubleshooting and resolving issues in our DevOps environments. This position requires monthly visits to the EPAM Warsaw office.

Responsibilities

  • Implement DevOps practices for efficient deployment and integration of applications
  • Support and maintain Linux servers
  • Set up and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop tools and scripts in Python and Bash
  • Apply automation with tools like Ansible, Docker, and Jenkins in a Test-automation pipeline
  • Utilize strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives
  • Actively engage as a team player with a willingness to continuously expand knowledge and expertise

About the Candidate

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency in Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Strong familiarity and experience in Linux server administration
  • Skills in Bash and Python scripting
  • Understanding of network security, including Mutual TLS, SSL, and OAuth 2.0 server integration
  • Competency in operating system hardening
