About the Role
In the Content & Solutions department, we are responsible for all products of the Haufe brand—from content processing to modern AI solutions. We are looking for a (Senior) Software Engineer - Python (d/m/w) to join our Freiburg im Breisgau team as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Technology and Impact: You will address complex automated data conversion processes required by our large data sets. Conceiving new workflows with your colleagues is key.
- Diverse System Landscape: Work in a versatile environment focusing on Python, XML, XSLT, and other exciting technologies.
- Growth Opportunities: Engage in our Communities of Practice to gain new knowledge and exchange ideas with colleagues from other projects.

About the Candidate (Expectations & Nice to Have Skills)
- Passion for Python: Comprehensive experience in Python, with a love for implementing complex automated data transformation processes.
- Technological Expertise: Ideally, you have knowledge of XML technologies (XML, XSLT) along with experience in build and process automation (Git, GitLab, Shell scripts) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Team Spirit & Communication: You communicate fluently in German (C1) and appreciate working collaboratively in agile teams.
