About the Role
As a Senior Backend Developer at TEEMA, you will take on the responsibility of developing and maintaining platform components that enable core product features. You are expected to build a performant, secure, and extensible backend architecture, uphold best practices in engineering, and engage in code reviews to ensure high-quality engineering standards. Furthermore, writing and maintaining unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability is part of the job scope.
About the Candidate
To be a successful candidate, you must have expertise in TypeScript coding, with 5+ years of experience specifically in TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS Lambda. A minimum of 7 years in enterprise-level backend development focusing on API applications is required. Experience building scalable applications in a cloud environment, particularly AWS, is a must, along with a deep understanding of relational databases and SQL proficiency. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment are essential. A degree in Computer Science is required, and experience in a SAAS environment is a nice-to-have.
