About the Role
EAT HAPPY GROUP is looking for a Data Engineer (m/w/d) who will be responsible for the following:
- Building, maintaining, and evolving data architectures such as Data Warehouses and Data Lakes.
- Developing and orchestrating ETL/ELT processes for data integration.
- Modeling and optimizing data to support analysis and reporting applications.
- Integrating diverse data sources and constructing automated data pipelines for batch and streaming processing.
- Working closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Developers to create data-driven solutions.
- Managing data projects with Git and Azure DevOps, including monitoring, logging, and performance tuning of data workloads.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Strong knowledge of SQL and practical experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience working with Lakehouse architectures (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or similar).
- Good knowledge of Python, especially for data processing, and Bash scripting.
- Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Proficiency with Git and ideally experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with data modeling principles (e.g., Star Schema, 3NF, Data Vault).
- An independent and structured work approach, a strong team spirit, and an eye for clean, maintainable code.
