About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will engage in full-cycle Android application development within an Agile environment. Your primary focus will be to ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. This position will allow you to boost your knowledge and experience, learn a lot, and work with the best EPAM and Client engineers. We are looking for a candidate who would be willing to work hybrid (3 days from the office per week) from Krakow.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android application components.
- Participate in Agile software development practices, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and QA engineers to deliver robust, scalable features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs and performance issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development workflows and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with Android development best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of production experience in Software Development.
- Production experience with Dagger, Java, and Kotlin.
- Decent Android SDK and Coroutines skills with the ability to write clean and maintainable code.
- Knowledge of DI concepts and architecture patterns such as MVVM and MVI.
- Familiarity with Jira and peer-to-peer review concepts.
- Good English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Understanding of Agile processes and workflows will be appreciated.
