About the Role

As an AWS Cloud Architect (Senior Consultant) at HCLTech, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing cloud solution architecture and providing lifecycle support.
  • Developing and selecting migration strategies for existing applications and workloads to cloud platforms.
  • Contributing to the improvement of architecture standards and guidelines.
  • Supporting the creation of documentation for application design compliance and operations efficiency.
  • Developing proofs of concept to validate new techniques.
  • Ensuring quality, security, and legal compliance of code.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in AWS Solution Architecture and 10+ years in software development.
  • A strong technical background in cloud computing, including modern technology stacks, microservices, containers, and distributed systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Microsoft Cloud Platforms.
  • A proven track record in cloud migration projects and highly available distributed system architecture.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like AWS CDK or Terraform.
  • Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, Golang, or Typescript.
  • Cloud solution architect certification (preferably AWS or Azure).
