The Electrical and Plant Engineering department is a reliable partner in the technical equipment of the transportation system network within mobility. The SCADA control system currently connects about 10,000 different plants, accessible at any time.
Expectations and Nice to Have Skills
You will join an innovative development team focusing on backend development and expertise in web and frontend implementation to further develop and expand our system landscape. Key responsibilities include:
- Continuous improvement of development and IT processes
- Implementation and enhancement of new functional requirements
- Integration of automation technology and/or external systems via standardized interfaces and protocols
- Support in predictive maintenance and data analytics
- Development in an agile environment with coordinated sprints
Required qualifications include:
- Completed (technical) university degree (Master/Bachelor) in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Ideally, 5 years of professional experience in software engineering
- Strong knowledge in JAVA and automation standards (OPC UA, MQTT)
- Familiarity with web design (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, JSON, XML) and object-oriented programming (Java, SWIFT)
- Team spirit, analytical thinking, and results-oriented approach
