About the Role

As a Backend Java Developer, you will join the Business Line IRC (IT Risks and Convergence) team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing client needs and transforming them into application features.
  • Collaborating with Analysts, Designers, support teams, and infrastructure.
  • Developing complete applications and high-quality prototypes within deadlines.
  • Contributing to the implementation of modern architectures, including APIs and microservices.
  • Ensuring the quality, performance, stability, maintainability, and scalability of solutions.
  • Applying development standards (CI/CD, DDD) and encouraging rigorous testing practices (BDD, TDD).
  • Writing technical documentation and user manuals related to developed applications.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process includes:

  • Coding Games test.
  • A job dating day on June 25, 2025, where you will meet Managers and Tech Leads at the CA-CIB campus in Montrouge (92).
  • HR exchange via Teams.
  • Response within 72 hours following the 3-day process.
  • Full-time CDI position within CA-CIB, with 2 days of telecommuting per week.
  • Benefits according to bank collective agreements (RTT, employee savings plan, bonuses) and participation in profit-sharing.

About the Candidate

To qualify for the Backend Java Developer position, you should have:

  • A degree in computer science and at least one experience in development.
  • An interest in investment banking and Spark.
  • A minimum first experience in an Agile or hybrid environment.
  • Mastery of Java, Spring, and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and TDD (Gherkin, Cucumber).
  • Professional English skills.

You should also possess good communication skills, be curious, proactive, and seek to understand the meaning of your daily tasks.
