About the Role

Our Mission: Web-based project solutions & tailor-made software. We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer (m/w/d) who will take on a key role in our development team. You will not only work on challenging projects but also mentor younger team members, inspiring them with your expertise.

As an expert in developing and optimizing advanced PHP-based applications, you will:

  • Design scalable backend architectures and powerful APIs that meet the specific requirements of applications.
  • Lead and support Junior Developers, contributing to their professional development.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensuring that our code meets the highest standards.
  • Work closely with project managers and other teams to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Act as the driving force behind the seamless coordination of all development tasks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and successfully.
  • Implement best practices, analyze, and optimize our applications for security and performance.

About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice to Have Skills)

You bring a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in PHP development, including at least 2 years in a lead position. Your daily work is characterized by:

  • Proficient handling of PHP and common frameworks, enabling successful execution of complex projects.
  • Deep knowledge of SQL databases, allowing you to develop efficient and robust database solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks to create user-friendly web applications.
  • Experience with version control systems, ensuring a smooth and organized development process.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cloud services like AWS or Google Cloud and expertise in container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, enabling you to develop and operate modern, scalable applications.
  • Fluent conversational skills in German.
  • A desire for continuous professional development and the ability to contribute to a motivated team.
