About the Role

We are looking for a Golang Developer with expertise in cloud metrics exporters to develop and implement tests for our Golang metrics exporter and extend Azure and GCP exporters to include NAT metrics. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud-native monitoring, performance optimization, and metrics instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tests for Golang metrics exporter to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Extend Azure and GCP exporters to include NAT metrics for enhanced network visibility.
  • Optimize cloud monitoring solutions for AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
  • Work with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry for metrics collection and visualization.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate metrics exporters into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues related to cloud metrics instrumentation.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to metrics exporters, NAT metrics integration, and testing methodologies.

About the Candidate

Expectations:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Golang development and cloud metrics instrumentation.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Monitor, GCP Stack driver, and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with Prometheus exporters and OpenTelemetry.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
