About the Role

At BRITA, we are passionate about water and are on an exciting journey to protect and enjoy it in fresh ways. As part of the R&D team, you will develop and support water dispensers used in office, industrial, and gastronomy settings. Your main focus will be on creating Embedded Software for these machines, particularly GUI applications. You will plan and design firmware components and control flows while keeping current technological trends in mind.

Responsibilities

  • Define and develop firmware for embedded systems/microcontrollers with C/C++, RUST, and embedded Linux.
  • Design and manage system and firmware requirements, focusing on GUI applications and CyberSecurity standards.
  • Oversee firmware integration and user interface testing while managing tasks delegated to external partners.
  • Contribute to expert teams for cross-department exchanges to foster collaboration and innovation.

About the Candidate

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in GUI application development for Embedded Systems, using frameworks like Qt. You should have knowledge of hardware-related software programming and structured interface design, especially for GUI backends. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools is preferred, as well as knowledge in CyberSecurity.
