About the Role
Meritis is seeking an Expert Databricks for projects that involve high-value data engineering, machine learning, and data governance. Responsibilities include:
- Data treatment and engineering, manipulation of structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, etc.)
- Creation of efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Spark SQL, Python (or Scala)
- Utilizing Delta Lake for reliable and versioned data management
Responsibilities
- Machine Learning & Collaboration: Train and deploy models in Databricks, track experiments via MLflow, utilize collaborative notebooks, and integrate with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Security & Work Environment: Manage access roles and resources through the Databricks workspace and ensure deployment in a secure environment compliant with corporate standards.
About the Candidate
- Candidates should have a degree from an engineering school (Bac +5 equivalent) and confirmed experience with Databricks in a cloud environment. Proficiency in Python and/or Scala, Spark, SQL, and Pandas is essential. Proficiency in English is required.
