About the Role

Join Hannover Rück SE as a DevOps Software Developer in the IT Underwriting Solutions team. This role focuses on enabling the development of software solutions for international teams and supporting the establishment of a DevOps mindset

Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions for international teams.
  • Assist development teams in implementing a DevOps culture using Git, CI/CD, and automation solutions.
  • Create tools with .NET, PowerShell, and TypeScript that help our teams achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate across teams at the intersection of product development and infrastructure teams (both Cloud and On-Premise).

About the Candidate

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about DevOps and modern software development. The ideal candidate has:

  • Solid experience in software development with .NET, PowerShell, and TypeScript.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and their implementation, including Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Initial experience with common cloud technologies and IT security issues is desirable.
  • Familiarity with agile methods and an international mindset, along with experience collaborating with international teams.
  • Team-oriented mindset and fluent in German and English.
