About the Role
Astek Canada is seeking a motivated Developer to work with our client in the Banking sector. In this hybrid work setting, your key responsibilities will include using Scrum to develop an orchestrator in AWS for integrating Salesforce and ServiceNow. You will also test and deploy features, pipelines, and integrations in the GitHub ecosystem, ensuring maximum value for the developer community.
About the Candidate
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree related to the field and over 5 years of experience as a developer.
- Proven experience in Agile software development with Java.
- Demonstrated skills in working with Kafka, Java, Microservices, and Rest API.
Key Skills Required:
- AWS Services expertise including Serverless (Lambda and Step Functions), Caching (ElastiCache), and Messaging (SNS, SQS, EventBridge).
- Containerization experience using Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS) and database expertise with DynamoDB.
- Application integration knowledge using security protocols such as OIDC.
- Proficiency in CI/CD processes, branching models, and tools like GitHub, Artifactory, and ArgoCD.
