Senior Network Engineer – Cloud/NetDevOps – 25140

We’re seeking a Senior Network Engineer with a focus on automation and Infrastructure as Code, bridging cloud networking with data center infrastructure. You will work closely with SREs, IT Operations, and other infrastructure teams to implement innovative networking solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and manage cloud networking infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
• Optimize performance, resiliency, scalability, and security of cloud networking infrastructure.
• Collaborate with solution architects, security engineers, site reliability engineers (SREs), and DevOps teams to deliver cloud solutions.
• Lead the design and implementation of network initiatives at Enverus.
• Provide networking expertise to other Enverus IT/Technology teams for troubleshooting and design support.
• Automate networking technologies, including data center fabric, internet edge, routers, and firewalls.
• Implement network automation using scripting languages such as Python, and tools like Ansible and Git.
• Maintain and deploy routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
• Interface with customers to ensure satisfaction through successful networking solutions delivery.

What You Should Have

• Strong understanding of networking technologies and experience in complex network troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in cloud networking services, especially in Azure/AWS and cloud security services.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance software development and deployment efficiency.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• Knowledge of Virtual Private Clouds and Hybrid-Cloud connectivity.
• Proven ability to architect and deploy network infrastructure technology solutions in large-scale environments.
• In-depth experience in BGP and network troubleshooting (including packet capture, debug).
• Functional knowledge of core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routers, switches, firewalls, and VLAN segmentation.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong capacity to assess complex problems and propose practical solutions.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
• Resourcefulness and the ability to diagnose and resolve problems swiftly are essential in this role.
• Ability to manage projects/processes independently with minimal supervision.
• A minimum of 5 years of IT experience focusing on network engineering within a datacenter environment.
• Additional certifications in networking are considered an asset.
