Our client is one of the world's largest hedge funds, managing investments for a diverse range of institutional clients including charitable foundations and governments. As a Senior Python Engineer, you will be contributing to the development of an exploratory Python workspace designed for a large-scale Python development environment. This role will involve working with cloud-based code execution, automation, token management, and AWS integrations to support investors and various system interactions.
About the Candidate
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong proficiency in Python along with experience in cloud-based development environments.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline configurations.
- Good understanding of Python libraries and their integration with various systems.
- Knowledge of Docker, Artifactory, and modern software deployment practices.
- Excellent API development and integration skills, and a strong foundation in infrastructure and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers (B2+).
Nice to Have
- Experience with financial or investor-related platforms.
- Previous experience working within an exploratory Python workspace setup.
- Knowledge of additional cloud service integrations and security best practices.
