About the Role
EPAM Systems is seeking a forward-thinking Application Operation Manager based in Madrid, focusing on the private banking sector. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end operation of an IT service in compliance with predefined service agreements. Key responsibilities include managing IT services, ensuring quality service delivery, and overseeing compliance with IT governance such as security and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for Operations, Support, Maintenance, and overarching Service Lifecycle.
- Maintain IT service infrastructure ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met.
- Manage seamless operations end-to-end, collaborating with various teams and external service providers.
- Act as gatekeeper for any service changes ensuring compliance with IT governance.
- Continuously improve service quality, availability, performance, and knowledge management.
- Manage Service and Asset Configuration Management and IT service continuity.
- Tailor and implement non-functional requirements in coordination with teams.
- Occasional weekend work and on-call duty may be required.
About the Candidate
Candidates should have:
- Relevant higher education in computer science with 6-7+ years in software development.
- Proficiency in Java, Adobe Acrobat, MS Sharepoint, and Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with Appway and Actico CRM, and ITIL frameworks.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, and a dynamic mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Fluent English skills; German is a plus.
