About the Role
Ippon Technologies is seeking a passionate Data Engineer to join our vibrant team dedicated to data platform development in the public cloud. The Data Engineer will work alongside our consulting teams and will receive mentorship to enhance their skills. This role encompasses intervention on client data platforms to develop new data pipelines (ingestion, processing, exposure), collaborating with business and data scientists to industrialize their work via testing, continuous integration, and scalability of models while implementing full infrastructure-as-code cloud systems such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
About the Candidate
As a successful Data Engineer, you will possess knowledge in distributed computing frameworks such as Spark, Storm, or Flink, and you should have experience with one or more programming languages (Python, Scala, Java). Familiarity with various data storage systems (SQL or NoSQL) and proficiency in SQL is a must, while knowledge of Snowflake is a plus. Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and frameworks for data streaming like Kafka or Amazon Kinesis is also essential. Given that many of our projects are now remote, a good command of English is necessary.
