About the Role

As a Systems Analyst on the System Administration team, you will apply your skills to support critical applications and maintain the stability of services at Visa. Your responsibilities will include:

• Infrastructure operations and production support of container technologies and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploying and configuring containerized applications and overseeing the Openshift Enterprise implementation.
• Maintaining ESXi and vSphere systems, managing vMotion, HA, and DRS configurations.
• Utilizing tools within the Kubernetes ecosystem including helm, Sysdig, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Working with configuration management tools like Chef, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Converting manual processes to automated solutions through scripting.
• Partnering with engineering teams for seamless infrastructure support.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of related work experience.
• 2+ years in a relevant role with a focus on Unix systems and containers.
• Scripting experience in Shell or Python.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and software engineering concepts.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle complex technical issues effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player, managing tasks with minimal supervision.

Work Environment
