About the Role

The IBM Technology Services organization is seeking an IT Management Consultant with expertise in IBM storage technology and products. As a Delivery Consultant - Scale, you will focus on leading and delivering client engagements that enable the adoption of IBM Storage solutions and help influence IBM revenue. Successful candidates will possess a rich history of IBM storage consultative and architectural project engagements, demonstrating the ability to assess IT infrastructures and recommend best practices effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop service offerings and client engagements centered around IBM Storage software and hardware solutions, including best practices in mirroring, backup and recovery, encryption, cloud, and storage management.
• Utilize agile development methodologies with coding/scripting skills in Python and Ansible to enhance customer storage infrastructures.
• Plan and deploy IBM storage infrastructures and possess knowledge of IBM storage solutions like IBM Scale, IBM FlashSystem, and SAN networking.
• Deliver reports to clients and engage in both client-facing communications and project management activities, with a readiness to travel up to 50% annually.

About the Candidate

Candidates should have an Associate's Degree, with a strong preference for a Bachelor’s Degree. Required skills include:

• Experience in IBM storage projects, specifically with IBM Scale systems.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• A willingness to travel up to 50%. Fluency in English is mandatory. Preferred candidates will have experience in IBM storage consulting projects and agile development with at least 1 year of Python and Ansible proficiency.
