About the Role
Our client is a leading UK Telecommunications service provider, urgently seeking a Backend Developer specializing in NodeJS, TypeScript, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). The successful candidate will be hired for a 6-month contract role, with a daily rate of up to £455.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
As an expert Backend Developer, you will have extensive experience in NodeJS, TypeScript, and GKE. You will be expected to take on leadership responsibilities, overseeing multiple projects and providing guidance to technical leads. You will need to comprehend both technical and business aspects to make informed decisions impacting various teams and the overall output.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Strong knowledge in NodeJS, effectively using the runtime to build server-side applications.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, which is an open-source language that adds features to JavaScript.
- Experience with GKE, which is a managed service for deploying and scaling containerized applications.
