About the Role

In this position, you will join the HVDC System Performance Department, dedicated to ensuring the overall performance of HVDC transmission links. Your role as a System Study Engineer encompasses working on large HVDC projects and engaging in system studies at different stages of the project's lifecycle. This position will provide opportunities for professional and personal growth, as you will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals focused on leading sustainable innovations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform studies, analysis, and optimizations of the system dynamic performance for our HVDC deliveries, including developing control algorithms.
  • Contribute to testing control and protection systems both in-house and during commissioning at project sites globally.
  • Participate in various phases of an HVDC project's lifecycle, supporting the sales department through marketing to project execution.
  • Collaborate with specialists across different disciplines in project and tender deliveries.

About the Candidate

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power systems, engineering physics, or a similar discipline is required.
  • Candidates may be experienced Power System Studies Engineers or fresh graduates; we value diverse levels of experience.
  • Proficiency in relevant programs and tools, such as PSCAD/EMTDC, PSSE, DIgSILENT's PowerFactory, Matlab, and/or ETAP, is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written English skills are required; knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
  • An analytical mindset and the ability to work independently, as well as strong collaborative and communication skills, are key traits for success in this role.

Additional Information
