About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for a Java Architect with 10 to 15 years of experience in software engineering. The candidate should have 5+ years in a technical lead role, involving application product design and technical strategy, while delivering technology solutions. Proficiency in advanced BackEnd technologies such as Java/J2EE, Kafka, SpringBoot, and microservices patterns is mandatory.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate must also have expertise in FrontEnd technologies, particularly Angular or ReactJS, along with skills in HTML5 and CSS for developing responsive UI screens. The role requires experience with various database systems including Oracle and MongoDB, as well as expertise in Cloud & DevOps practices, specifically in cloud development and troubleshooting applications in platforms like OpenShift and AWS.
Strong communication skills, a proven mentorship ability, and an agile mindset are essential. You should be adept in risk assessment and management, capable of identifying technical risks and proposing robust mitigation strategies such as spikes or proofs of concept.
