About the Role
Synechron is looking for a Sr. C++ Developer responsible for building applications that range from desktop applications to native mobile applications and embedded systems. The primary responsibility includes designing and developing these applications and coordinating with the rest of the team working on various layers of the infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Assist with user adoption of global technology solutions through training and liaising with development personnel to enhance overall user experience.
- Revamp existing technology to improve scalability, efficiency, and performance.
- Provide status reports to global and local managers and business partners.
- Participate in designing and developing tools and applications for pricing infrastructure and related business areas.
- Identify system deficiencies and develop technical solutions for remediation.
- Support and debug system/software deficiencies and improve production support documentation.
- Improve CI/CD pipeline of existing business technology.
About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice-to-Have Skills)
The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in Capital Markets software development, with a strong focus on C++. Required skills also include proficiency in multithread programming, Oracle, and Python. Familiarity with service-oriented architecture, web services, JSON, XML, and DevOps pipelines is essential. Experience with Sophis, Equity Derivative Products, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are crucial.
