About the Role
Carbotech is looking for a Développeur logiciel (C++) responsible for programming optimization software for wood cutting according to client specifications. The role involves the application of current standards and programming methods. You will provide technical expertise as a specialist, ensuring the quality of the systems delivered. Responsibilities also include analyzing, developing, programming, modifying, and testing both the software and hardware components of optimization projects. In addition, you will draft and approve technical documentation related to the developed software and installation techniques, and assist technicians with service calls.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate should have a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant combination of training and experience. You must have a minimum of three years of experience in real-time programming using the C++ language and object-oriented techniques. A good command of industrial control processes and writing skills is essential. Familiarity with C#, JIRA, Git, and customer service experience would be beneficial. You should have a functional mastery of both French and English, essential for servicing North American and international clients.
