About the Role
BWI GmbH is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Ops Expert (m/w/d) to work collaboratively for the digital future viability of our country. As an established IT systems house for the Bundeswehr and federal IT service provider, we deliver extensive IT services from a single source.
Responsibilities
Your tasks include:
- Operating and further developing our experimental AI labs.
- Deployment of models in various environments such as NVIDIA Triton, Groq, or Kubernetes.
- Development and optimization of ML pipelines and model training methods.
- Evaluation of new Machine Learning Ops techniques.
About the Candidate
Your profile:
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable discipline is a must.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the DevOps/MLOps environment after graduation.
- In-depth knowledge in deploying Kubernetes (on a Linux basis) and utilizing and optimizing AI resources (GPUs).
- Good programming skills in Python (or similar) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Ability to effectively collaborate in teams and across disciplines.
- High degree of independence, result-oriented, decision-making, and communication skills.
- High frustration tolerance when working with technologies in alpha and beta stages.
- Fluent in German and very good English skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
