About the Role
The DevOps Lead acts as a technical specialist to lower-level engineers and manages a small team. Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary technical lead for the DevOps/SRE team supporting a major application with 24x7 availability.
- Organizing code deployments using CI/CD, triaging and communicating issues, and managing workflows using Jira.
- Providing expertise in standards and guidelines that guide technology solution designs.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates should have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 2 years of experience as a technical lead with an agile team.
- Experience supporting high-availability applications and familiarity with technologies such as OpenShift, Docker, Spring/Spring Boot, and AWS.
