About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer / Kubernetes Engineer to join a leading software innovator based in Arnhem. This hybrid role is part of a compact international team of 6, working together to shape the future of infrastructure in mission-critical software environments.
Why This Role Matters
In today’s rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape, businesses are seeking secure, cloud-agnostic, and fully managed Kubernetes platforms more than ever. From sovereignty concerns to cost efficiency, the demand for robust Kubernetes solutions is surging - and our client is at the forefront. If you're passionate about cutting-edge infrastructure and want to be part of a growing, future-proof space, this is your moment.
What You’ll Do
- Enhance and secure customer Kubernetes environments to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Lead onboarding of new clients by building smart pipelines, designing solid network policies, and automating backups.
- Deliver proactive support, quarterly system reviews, and implement timely security upgrades.
What’s In It for You
- Flexible hours with hybrid work options - approx. 3 days a week in the Arnhem office.
- Career development support: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), cloud certifications, and opportunities to attend global conferences.
- A collaborative culture with plenty of autonomy and space to grow.
What You Bring
- 5 years in Infrastructure / SRE / DevOps roles, with 2 years hands-on Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with tools like Helm, Flux, or Nginx.
- Comfort with scripting in Bash, Shell, or using Terraform.
- Solid Linux background and cloud exposure (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Bonus: Some Golang experience would be lovely, but it's not needed at all as there’s a development team that takes care of this!
